While studying Physics at Iowa State University, I first discovered my love for teaching and tutoring and have been doing it almost continuously since then. I worked for the ISU Academic Success Center helping groups of 1-4 students learn calculus and calculus-based physics for 3 semesters. I would describe my teaching style as one of "mentoring". I believe in the "sustainability" of learning. Learning continues for all of our lives and on all levels. I believe that everyone can learn.
