A Little Bit About Me...

I have sons ages 17 and 20, and continually took an active role in fostering their education. From the time they first set foot in kindergarten, through high school, I regularly volunteered, supporting their and the schools’ needs. I assisted in the classroom, chaperoned field trips, dances, etc., planned and participated at parties, special events and any role that could make a small difference. I am especially sensitive to the needs of students with disabilities, particularly those with ADD or similar issues. I was a volunteer to teach Religion in a At Risk school. Also since starting my program at Cardinal Stritch University, I've been placed in a couple of schools and have taught along with the regular teacher. My goal is to be a teacher that can motivate students in their learning and to become sucessful students.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate student, I have had to push myself to absorb all the material possible in a relatively short period of time. In order to achieve this, my colleagues and I work in groups, making use of the diversity of our strengths to improve the entire group's work. I teach my colleagues the material that I know well, while learning from them the material they know well. In addition to this experience, I have also been a Teaching Assistant for two college courses and tutored undergraduate students for two years.
