I have a calm teaching style and approach. My goal is to help clear confusion for students by teaching them several easy steps to keep in mind while writing.
I have helped many of my friends and other students become better writers throughout and beyond my college career. I have seen all of these students gain good grades for their work, and they also became better writers through the process. Writing papers is one of the few things I found easy in college. I tutored a kindergarten girl to improve her phonemic awareness. I tutored Language Arts in elementary school after school hours. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a disciplinarian. I have an excellent ability to gain a students attention, keep it and the results of my students have been well above average. I have a knack to bring into the classroom, outside events (latest ball games, Olympics, etc.) to establish a 'bond' between myself and the student. This allows me to gain their confidence as well as not create a bored atmosphere. I find this very important, especially with the more difficult students.
