My comments on tutoring Anatomy : high school and 100 college level

My tutoring strategies: -throughout my experiences, I realized that each person is different and require different teaching methods depending on the individual's preference -I prefer to use study skills that will benefit the individual; I have a variety of strategies depending on the subject as well. some individuals learn well using flashcards, while others prefer repetitive writing for memorization - I have had a couple of ADHD clients that prefer learning games and activities because it helps them stay active, but focused at the same time

I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have also started youth tutoring programs since 2007. I have taught algebra, organic chemistry, physics, and other core mathematics and chemistry classes. Although I have taught in group settings, I prefer to tutor no more than three students at a time. I have taught grades from 6th grade all the way up to sophomore college level.
I use the preferences, hobbies, likes, and dislikes of the student to relate the information in which they are learning. I use examples from everyday life that helps them understand information that is applicable to everyday life.

I like to make songs that children can learn from and I also like to make colorful diagrams and charts that make it more easier to read and remember.
I have done school tutoring and some tutoring with younger family memebers who are dyslexic and who have ADHD. I have a direct and simple teaching method. I love teaching physics and it always came naturally to me but I understand that most people do not feel the same way. I try to help students gain a deep understanding of the subject matter so that the principles and concepts are learnt and not simple formula memorizing. I do this so that when the student comes across a problem that does not fit the general shape of previous problems they can use the concepts learned to solve the problem.
