My teaching style varies depending on the needs of my clients. Typically when I tutor more than one student at a time, I like to give frequent assessments (verbal or written). These "quizzes" aren't to punish the students; I use them to assess the needs of the students and the strengths and weaknesses of my teaching methods. The results allow me to adjust my style accordingly and focus on the areas in which the students need the most help.
My interest in mathematics is what originally fueled my desire to pursue an accounting degree. My work ethic and study skills are what have allowed me to earn both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in this field. My greatest strengths, however, are writing and composition, which is why I minored in English. I enjoy finding out a student’s area of difficulty and address it directly. Students have different learning styles, it easy for me teach in a variety of styles so that to make sure my students understands. I do also apply almost everything I teach to real world situations, for example most young students may think that learning about triangles will not benefit his/her career in business. As his/her teacher I will show the student how one can use triangles to determine where to built a manufacturing company equidistant (meaning the distant between each raw material supply place to the manufacturing place is the same) to three raw material supply areas, which are not in the same place.
