I have been teaching French to English-speaking people living in France since 1979. I have an adaptable teaching style. Teaching is most effective on the individual level. On the rare occasions I have been able to work one-on-one with a student, I am able to approach the material in various ways to best fit that student's needs. Most students in today's society are visual learners. Visual aides usually work the best with these students. When these students don't grasp material, usually it is because they are not able to conceptualize it. However, if you can assist by showing, the student gets a jump-start into comprehension. Besides, no single "style" or method is going to work with any given student. Everyone is different.
