Hi! My name is Morgan Pitman and I am senior at Anderson University majoring in Elementary Education. I also have a certification in learning disabilities and have had previous experience tutoring various grade levels (especially 5th grade math and 1st grade reading). I have also spent a significant amount of time observing and assisting in elementary classrooms (grades 1-5). I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. Being that I work in a Title 1 school with a high ESOL population, I give my students as many hands-on experiences as possible. I use a lot of differentiation to meet the needs of all academic levels in my classroom (emergent readers-9th grade level).
