I am currently in my 7th year as an Exceptional Children's Teacher. My most recent position consists of being an Algebra I Inclusion teacher where I am responsible for going into the general education classroom providing educational assistance to students with special needs primarily while assisting everyone else collectively while present. My teaching style consists of various things. First and foremost, I believe that all children can and will learn. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels. I have written numerous research papers and business report. I have worked in the Auditing area professionally for over 10 years. I have taken an Effective Teaching class at our local Community College. We learn all types of techniques for helping students to learn. Some students learns by hands on applications others through repetition. I would be glad to work with students of all ages, but I prefer to work with a student individually rather than work with students in a group. From both my experience of being an informal tutor and being tutored, I find that students general prefer this style of tutoring because the tutor can both focus and better access their student's strengths and weaknesses in the particular academic subject they are having difficulty with. I have informally tutored people of various age ranges in the subjects, physics and math , for a period that ranges over about three years . I have taught younger relatives as well as helped people informally on online tutoring message boards with math and physics problems. I have also been paid to assist students in how to operate the basic commands of computational mathematical software for three years as well.
