A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate I have done tutoring to enhance my credibility to teach possibly in the future with my major in criminal justice. I'm currently enrolled for my Masters in criminal justice and criminology, and I plan to futher my education to teach within that field. As a vocational expert/counselor I have taught, trained,and tested (interest, IQ, aptitude etc) both clients and employees. I worked with average intelligence adolescents and adults. I also assisted the special education teacher at Hanover Learning Center (approximately 7 years)working with mild and moderately impaired adolescents in the classroom. In the vocational and job placement responsibilities, I coordinated, and assisted/taught client to help them obtain their GED.
Naturally I would set goals and objectives (Independent Educational Plan). Depending if the individual's assets or deficits (weaknesses) would determine my teaching style. Since my years as an undergraduate student, one of my passions has always been giving back to the community through tutoring and mentoring. Over the past eleven years, I have tutored countless times, particularly in research paper and essay writing (in various disciplines), literature, and even mathematics.
