SAT - Math is one of my top subjects! SAT Math is one of my specialties. Math always came to me, but this test was not the most difficult to study for. I Scored a 770 on the math section, and 790 on the SAT II Math I Subject Test. I know the test inside and out and am very good at helping people to learn the strategies to understand what the question is asking and answer it in a timely maner.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Having this mentality of preparation and success will being them to reach their goals.

I began teaching as a college sophomore at MIT. For 9 years, I taught primarily Multivariable Calculus, but also single-variable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and several writing courses. Since graduating, I have been involved in various volunteer tutoring efforts. My minors are in Math, German, and Writing. As an undergraduate at Rhode Island College, I studied Physics and Mathematics. During this time, I was on the Dean's List for all 8 semesters, and earned the departmental award in Physics. When I was not working on my studies, I tutored both college students in the Physical Sciences Department, and high school students for the Upward Bound Program, which seeks to prepare inner-city high school students for their first year of college.

While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills.
