I work with students to develop a curriculum that meets their needs and gets their work to industry standards. It is critical in the fast- paced changing world of web design that sites created have both backwards capability as well as current technology to meet the rapidly changing ways in which people access the web. In the world of print, I teach the principles of prepress and printing to assure that students understand the importance of exacting preparation before the press rolls. Don't let boring old Grandpa teach you basics of Webdesign!

I'm a average web designer who is completely self taught. I think that for that reason I would be able to connect more with the students because I didnt sit in a classroom and have a teacher. I learned at a slower rate but I got to choose which fields in webdesign I wanted to focus on. In a college type setting your required to follow the same study path that all the other students are on. Which makes learning your favorite style much harder. I can provide a per student curriculum of study which will bring a positive and fun take on the world of web design which is made even more cutting edge by my age. A 33 yr old can teach someone how to make a modern unique website. A 60+ yr old tutor will only show how to build boring run of the mill websites! :)
