I have worked as a math and physics tutor for several years at the high school and undergraduate university levels. My past experience has been primarily in introductory physics courses and upper-level high school math including trigonometry and calculus, but I am excited at the possibility of tutoring at any level. I was a President's Scholar at Georgia Tech from 2004 through 2008, and I recently completed master's degrees in physics and medical physics at the University of Pennsylvania. I am looking for summer tutoring positions before I begin a doctoral program at the University of Chicago this fall. All levels of instruction are welcome! I have a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and about seven years of teaching experience in USA and in India. I can teach math for any level. Also I have about 3 years of tutoring experience with students of different level. Presently I am teaching in ESA Ombudsman that is specialized in drop-off students from the school. Of course I love teaching specifically math of any level. My style is different; instead of teaching I coach my students. When I teach math, I don't simply use formulas and solve the problems; I try to teach how the formula is created and where to use it.

As a student majoring in engineering while playing basketball, my focus to detail was very important. After being recruited, I realize the importance of school as I prepare myself for the future. After working as an engineer for a major defense company, I pursued an MBA and started my own business. During the last twenty years, I have volunteered my time at the Boys & Girls club, home school my son for three years and taught courses at a college. I welcome the opportunity to share my skills and experiences in the areas of math and science. I enjoy teaching all children. I believe in evaluating each student to assess their needs (gaps) and creating examples to show them how to close their gaps in learning.
