I earned a B.S. Degree in Biology from Fort Valley State University which is highly regarded across the states. However I got involved with tutoring about 3 years before obtaining my degree. Since 2007 I have been teaching Biology, although I started out teaching Physical Science. I currently teach on the high school level however I am able to adapt to younger or older students.

As a substitute teacher I never really was able to develop a specific style of teaching. Each teacher had their own way of doing things and each class was different. However, I feel the best way for anyone to learn be it adult or student is to let the student take the lead. I would give them the instructions as to what needs to be accomplished, let them do the work, and be there for any questions or assistance that would be needed.
