I have found that students can make rapid progress when they have an opportunity to fill in the gaps of their skills and knowledge. Over the years, I have learned many strategies to help students acquire the skills they need. I help students to build on their strengths as they overcome their academic weaknesses. I attended college and received my bachelors degree in Psychology and then got a job as a teacher on an emergency credential and realized I loved teaching. When I graduated from college, I taught bilingual elementary kindergarten for 2 years on an emergency credential.
