As a young girl I grew up loving math and physics. I made sure to participate in every math and physics competitions in order to challenge myself and I was able to win two math competitions. While pursuing my bachelor degree I worked as a math tutor for college graduates who were preparing to take the GRE and GMAT. Last year I tutored a junior in high school who was working on achieving great results on his math tests. While working on my MS at the University of Tennessee, I taught lecture and outdoor laboratory sessions for the Ornithology course, which included about 30 students. Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math. I just recently graduated and I can't see myself not helping someone learn and love math. Math isn't a subject that everyone loves but I believe that can change with the right teacher.
