A Little Bit About Me...

In addition to completing accounting courses for my B.S. in Accounting, I completed two courses in Child Development and Education, and all college level math courses through Calculus. I have tutored students in math since 1989. At Juniper Elementary in Bend, OR, I was a Good News Club teacher and volunteered as a reading specialist working to improve reading skills of struggling students. I also teach music lessons, group and individual. I received teacher training through CEF. With my love for teaching, I have enjoyed the honor of homeschooling my 4 children who test as gifted and talented and exceed in all areas on their testing.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a primary focus in International Business, a secondary focus in Marketing Management and a Minor in Speech Communication, along with a certification for Economics through Lunds Universitet in Lund, Sweden, where I spent a semester abroad. I have just returned from Lausanne, Switzerland where I spent the past year teaching English, interpersonal skills and nonverbal communication to two Suisse/French children, ages three and five, who had no previous knowledge of the English language.
