I am able to effectively teach a group of kids, and I am also comfortable with the one on one teaching style. Regardless of the environment, I know how to make sure the needs of every student is met.
I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. My very first session, I fell in love with it. I am understanding that each student has different needs, different strengths and weaknesses. I have tutored high school students at San Gorgonio High School in a variety of subjects for 6 months. In addition, I worked as an independent English tutor in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 months. When I was in high school I did two years of tutoring at Franklin Elementary. I'm currently employed at Club Z Tutoring and attend University of Redlands to obtain my teaching credential.
I can teach children of all ages. I believe it is easiest to build rapport with the student before teaching them. If there is a good relationship between the student and teacher then it is easier to teach and learn. I use different styles of teaching that address all types of learners.
