I taught English at the secondary level for 17 years (2 years - jr high, 15 years - high school) in Iowa (12 years), Texas (4 years), and Ohio (2 years). I taught all English curriculum courses over time, with a focus on composition, speech communication, American & British Literature, and World Literature. In addition I directed plays and coached students for speech contests.
