A Little Bit About Me...
As a Regent's Scholar at UC Davis, I sought to develop skills in both the sciences and the liberal arts. As such, I earned two bachelors degrees, a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering, and a BA in Japanese. I have an extensive background in math and science, particularly in physics and chemistry, due to the former. I also have a plethora of experience in writing persuasive essays, technical papers, and research papers. My two years of tutoring experience ranges from basic mathematics for elementary school students to advanced engineering principles for college students.
When working with children, I try my best to be engaging, interactive, and fun. If necessary, I'll use props (e.g. building blocks) to help illustrate concepts, and I always try to ask many questions along the way to make sure my explanations are clear. With olde ... read more
