I am an Electrical engineer currently working for IBM as a logic design engineer. I have been tutoring students for past 10 years. Ever since I was a kid, I would be lured by the sight of a telephone or a remote control. I would spend my time building blocks and solving puzzles. These innate qualities in me have blossomed into the strong desire to become an engineer. I was in a program called "Study Buddies" all four years at high school. I would devote a couple afternoons a week tutoring middle school students (and eventually high school students). During this time I would help them study for tests, complete assigned work, or help clarify any material that the student didn't understand. Also, I helped these students develop their writing and grammar skills. Starting my junior and senior year of high school, I began "one on one" tutoring with selected individuals. Study buddies was a program where several students would show up and the helpers would assist accordingly, but when I began tutoring I specifically met with them at assigned times.
