I am a native German and a certified German teacher. I am teaching German right now and have been teaching the language for the past 8 years at all levels. I taught German for 15 years in Public as well as Private schools in North Carolina. I am a native German speaker and received my teaching degree in Germany with a major in German. Besides teaching in my native country, I also taught German to French students ( 2 years) while living in the suburbs of Paris for 10 years. After my move to the US I first taught French for several years in a charter school before the school added German as a Foreign Language besides French and Spanish. For over twenty years I have taught at the college level, with extensive expertise in teaching the liberal arts to engineering majors. I think students either learn kinesthetically, visually, or auditorally, for the most part. I specialize in journal entry writing and reconciliations. I reconcile both bank account statements and account balances with my master bank reconciliation having approximately $40 million debits and credits monthly. I love teaching and showing people how easy accounting can be and how much it helps you in real life situations. Most students get overwhelmed easily with double entry accrual accounting. I find it best to relate the material directly to the students personal life purchase and income habits.
