I teach as if each student was my own child. I treat students the same way I would want my own children treated. Therefore, I teach with the same inspiration. I am convinced that students think math has to be hard, but I approach math with a different attitude. There are definitely some aspects of math that can be troubling, these are the concepts we need to work harder on and with a different frame of mind. I am a visual learner and the best way to teach would be to give the learner something he can visually grasp. First if possible demonstrate visually then combine that with numbers and show the proper steps to solve the problem algebraically. Then offer different situations and examples for them to practice.
