I am very patient, and I take pride in my ability to relate to so many different students at different grade levels. I am not strict, but I expect hard work and dedication from my pupils.
I have worked as a Sunday school teacher instructing children ages ten through sixteen. I also taught vacation Bible school during the summers. During my senior year of high school, I mentored a young lady named Olivia Draper with whom I received a $2500.00 scholarship from Champions for Children for college.I also worked as a substitute teacher for Madison County Schools in 2009-2010. I worked most of my substituting assignments at the alternative school. I fell in love with the desire to teach students while working with the students there. I noticed there is a need for passionate educators. I plan to begin the movement.

My capacity for learning and teaching is unlimited and extensive. I focus more on the students’ cognitive and social skills by making them more attentive and making sure they are able to comprehend the materials that is taught to them. My experience as a Case Counselor requires me to engage with the student who has special needs. I teach them how to interact with others. During my four years at Millsaps, I gained much more than my degree. I learned how to take vast amounts of information and structure it in a way that allowed me to memorize and retain it. To exit Millsaps College, it is necessary to take an exit exam which is comprehensive. Because of this, I am an authority on the subject of biology. I have also had extensive coursework in the areas of Chemistry (general and organic), physics, English, and many other subjects that really make a transcript necessary to see what an asset I could be to Advanced Learners.
