A Little Bit About Me...

I have never officially taught, but I have been told by my peers that they believe I would have some skill at it. Mostly, my teaching style would involve working through problems or homework step by step with a student at first, and then once they gain more confidence, allowing them to do more work on their own. I want to help the student feel relaxed, but also determined and enthusiastic.
I am, as of this past May, a high school graduate. I was co-president of the National Honors Society and a member of the Spanish National Honor Society at Rochester High School. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a very unique way of teaching. My key to success works on a system of discipline and rewards. I find creative ways to make the most mundane tasks fun to accomplish. In my professional experience, it is almost like pouring salt on the wound when they don't do well in school and then have to suffer through more torture after school.
As a substitute teacher in the Bethalto school district, I feel I have been trained in all of the subjects necessary to tutor students.
