I have been a life-long teacher and learner, first as a mother of three children and now as an elementary teacher. I come with a very strong foundation and fourteen years of professional experience effectively integrating art and technology into the curriculum. This has allowed me to become knowledgeable in elementary math, English, science, social studies, reading and writing skills. My strategies and activities provide differentiated instruction to fit the various needs and learning styles of all ages of students. To extend an extra helping hand to students I work with an after-school program, C.A.R.E.S. which provides after school activities. I also formed a Homework Club that meets four afternoons a week to develop and practice study skills and habits in addition to help with homework.
