Theatre Is Fun, So Let's Have Fun

I love to make it fun. Theatre (as well as History) should be fun. Learning should be fun. When someone enjoys learning, they want to learn more! So while bringing semi-strict curriculum of topics that must be covered over a course of time, I approach it with the idea that it must be fun, enjoyable, and free-willing. Theatre is a profession, not just a hobby, so I'll help the students understand the importance of theatre, the expectations of directors and designers and actors, as well as how to work as a team player. I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way.
As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
