Enthusiastic tutor with degrees in Biology

I received my Bachelor's and Masters degree in Biology from The University of Alabama. I was placed on the President's List for two semesters and the Dean's List for six semesters. I was in the pre-health honor society Alpha Epsilon Delta. I am very experienced and knowledgeable in many science subjects such as Anatomy, Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. I enjoy helping children discover new areas, encouraging them to move way from the trite and trivial to new and daring concepts in their research. Often a trivial fact that they never knew will open the doors to opportunities they never envisioned. My son has many interests, and I have always encouraged him to explore them beyond the basics - he can now engage in some amazing discussions with my father, a former Army Ranger, about events in Vietnam that I know were never taught in my history classes.
