Algebra II is one of my top subjects!

My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.
To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. Mostly recently I broaden my range to elementary to high school. I do very well in mathematics except for geometry, Pre-cal, abd calculus because i am not registered for those classes. I'm also good in science.

Learning Math can be FUN!

I try to explain concepts by explaining the methods behind them. Once a student understands the concepts, it is easier for them to apply them to other problem situations.
With over 35 years experience teaching math, I have successfully taught students from third grade through college calculus. I enjoy math, and my students are able to understand it in a one-to-one teaching environment. During this time of closed schools, it is difficult for students to understand and adapt to this new way of learning. Math is my life.

I have worked in the school system for 14 years. I have been a Teacher, Teacher Assistant, Substitute Teacher, a Lead Teacher in a Child Care Center, and a Director of a Center. I have worked with all ages. I have worked with babies all the way through high school. I have worked with general education and special education. I am pretty easy going when it comes to not knowing, but I do not play when it comes to school. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. If you don't use it then you will lose.
