Just as everyone has their own learning style, teachers have their own teaching style. I see my style as more hands on. When I create lesson plans, I like to think outside the box and find ways that motivate students in connection to their interests.
July 2011 I graduated from University of West Georgia in Carrollton with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education. I began substituting for the Heard County School System in August 2011. When I was in middle and high school, I served as a peer tutor. I guess you can say that I have always had a desire to teach.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love helping people to see the other side of things, and understand how simple complex systems can be. Mainly, I like to inspire thought, and provoke an individual learning style in all those I mentor. In language and English, I believe reading diversity are key, in math I instill a grasp for formulas so that the child merely hast to insert numbers and follow routine, In history it's important to relate to today's issues and follow up boring facts with interesting relational occurrences. Even before attaining my degree in English from Jacksonville State University I was passionate about all forms of teaching. I have over a year of experience tutoring college students at Jacksonville State University's Academic Center for Excellence and immediately following that nearly another year of experience tutoring dyslexic youths at the Dyslexia Clinic in Oxford, AL. I have experience tutoring biology, english, french, physcohology, and a variety of art and history classes.
