I love teaching and I love to see the spark in a child's eye when they finally understand a subject they have struggled with! I am a certified special education instructional support aide for an elementary school in northwest Fort Worth. During the school year, I work in Resource and Content Mastery with special education students that are in general education classes but need additional instruction in Reading, Math, and Language Arts. I also provide additional assistance through Content Mastery to students in Science and Social Studies. I am currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education as well as pursuing teacher certification through Texas Teachers. Learning is important to self esteem. Nursing school taught me nursing math. Nursing math is converting quantities from one form of a unit to another unit, for example milliliters to liters. I had a fear of math but with enough practice we can all learn math. I have taken various college classes and now have 200 hours of college.
