I also help my clients understand the materials given to them and even help them find anything relating to their course of study which will help them in their assignments.

I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and have worked extensively with and for children including a Case Manager at Clay County Behavioral. I have always wanted to be a teacher so earned my Teaching Certification through St. John's River Community College in ESE and Pre-K through 3rd Grade. I have been a teacher's assistant at Wilkinson Elementary in the Trainable/Profoundly Handicapped class and am now in my 2nd year at Shadowlawn Elementary working with the Hearing Impaired assisting in all subjects. My comments on tutoring Painting : I would be comfortable working with students using acrylic or tempera paint.

I am a big proponent of the theory of multiple intelligences and believe that each student has certain styles of learning that work best for them. I aim to help students figure out how they learn best. Once they realize where their strengths are, they can incorporate the concept into all of their studies, not just the subject for which I happen to be tutoring them.
I have tutored a wide variety students on many subjects. I am most experienced tutoring high school students for the SAT. I worked with Let's Get Ready, a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing high school students for the SAT and their college search process.
