Learning is a life long process

My comments on tutoring Physics : Physics was one of my strongest classes next to chemistry and I never made below an A on an exam. I can break the subject matter down into easily digestible bites, physics is easy once you learn to decipher it.

I graduated from Berry College in May of 2021. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Science with Honors. My major was Animal Science with a minor in chemistry. I have worked on several research projects that are in the process of publication or being prepared for publication. I never made anything below an A on my physics and chemistry classes. My specialty is in animal science, chemistry, and physics. However, I can teach lower to middle level mathematics. Physics is one of my top subjects! Physics is right up there with Chemistry and Calculus as one of the most challenging courses that college students face as they enter their freshmen year. However, this subject has perhaps the greatest reward associated with success: Learning physics is the technical equivalent of learning to speak Latin. From my experience as a tutor, confidence plays a big factor in the student’s ability to learn. When I am with a student, I constantly make sure that I am encouraging him/her and letting them know that they are doing a great job. Typically when I tutor a student, I go over the basic concepts and go over problems. I teach them what to look for and techniques used to approach any problem. Once they have built up that confidence in identifying an approach to a problem, I let them do one on their own.
