Over those years I have taught 1st grade for two years, and Middle School Grades 6-8 Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies. My style of teaching varies with the child, their age, personality, subject, and amount of time we have. Besides teaching 2nd grade religion for 14 years my daughter has ADD. I have worked with kids who need to keep moving while they learn, to kids who need complete quiet. Some kids are more visual learners; others need to act the lesson out, while others do fine quietly reading. The important thing is to make it interesting so they WANT to learn.
