I have always loved children and work hard to make a difference in their lives. When I was placed in a Third Grade classroom in the Fall of 1979 for my student teaching experience, I knew then where I belonged. This was my final semester at the University and I was taking two classes to finish my requirements to graduate in December. Working with that age of child was exactly what I wanted to do. Teaching is a very rewarding experience. I especially like to see when my students progress to a higher level. I believe all children can learn but they often have different learning styles. This allowed me a great deal of hands on experience in applying mathematical and scientific principles in gathering data and doing statistical regressions.
