I love teaching and working with all children. I seem to have a great raport with children and can communicate with them very well. Many children have no one with whom can sit down with them and give them the one on one time and attention that it takes to help them to achieve their academic levels. I truly try to reach all of my students. My love of learning and love of working with students has motivated me to continue my education. I have earned a BA in Mus Ed (k-12) and a MA in Counseling, both school counseling and community agency counseling. I also am a private piano instructor as well as the Minister of Music at my church. I am a Marshall University student and Adjunct Faculty member. I have earned a bachelor degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Public Relations. In 2006, I received a Master's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Oral Speaking. Presently, I am two semesters away from an Ed.S. in Higher Education with hopes of entering the doctorate program next fall. I have taaught a variety of levels of Communication courses at Marshall University, MCTC, and Huntington Junior College. I have a passion for teaching. I beleive it was what I was born to do.
