I talk mathematics from a tutor's point of view and expect the student to fill in the blanks in a way such that I've set him/her up. A Little Bit About Me...

When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school. I finally had decided that teaching was not for me because I wanted more of an office setting job so i decided to major in business management. I have decided that I want to pursue in subsitute teaching so that I am able to help children and spend more time with my newborn.

While I was tutoring History, it helped the child understand the concepts of the battles of the Civil War easier when I showed a map and used plastic army men. While tutoring Math, the student understood the concepts of fractions better if I used measuring cups for simple fractions.
