It has been my experience that students are more successful if they can apply and practice any theory to which they may be exposed. Given this notion, I try to provide real world applications to whatever concept I introduce, whether teaching in a classroom setting or tutoring one on one. If this approach is not appropriate, I will break down the concept into the simplest possible learning steps.
