For the last four years I have been at Cardigan Mountain School, where I taught English, Latin, Homeric Greek, ESL, and Ancient History. I collaborated with the English Dept., providing, via Power Point Lecture Presentations, the historical background to Tennyson’s epic account of the Light Brigade at Balaklava and Shakespeare’s Henry V, and, as part of the eight grade history seminar, I delivered a forty-minute lecture on Hitler and the Holocaust. I always knew I wanted to help people. While working in a pre-school it hit me, I loved working with children and watching them learn and helping them achieve success. It was then that I decided to return to school to become a teacher in elementary education.
