As a college graduate I found that my skills were better off served outside the classroom and could better be used in a one-on-one situation instead of 15 kids at once. I hold a BS in Communication with concentration on English. I have extensive experience with writing and editing as I have worked for various publications. During the past years I have tutored a number of children helping them to read. In addition I have spent countless hours teaching computers to various ages from 10-60 years of age. I have helped in teaching Microsoft Office applications as well as the internet. While studying for my undergrad in economics I found a passion in helping others succeed as I was. I often held study sessions with groups ranging from 2- 10 people at least twice a week. When during these sessions if an individual felt lost, I would often meet with them at a later date to coach them separately.
