I've found it's important to find a personal way of learning for a specific student. Variety is important, because every child learns a little differently. My comments on tutoring Spelling : Reading continuously aids in the art of spelling. Both novels I have written were uploaded to Smashwords Premium Catalog shelf as a result of 0% spelling and grammatical mistakes.

I spent thirteen years in college, and participated in many study groups. Every group has a person who leads, I have generally taken that role. I have also chosen professions where working in groups is the norm. I enjoy active problem solving, looking at all potential solutions, and digging for the best. I think these skills have lead me to being an exemplary employee. Officially I have only served as a tutor on a volunteer basis; for the last six years I have primarily dealt with elementary school aged children. However, I believe that I have more than sufficient skills to deal with all students.

Tutor for the summer

I am a speech therapist with 11 years and experience. I have worked with students pre-k through 12th grade, primarily pre-k through 5th grade.
