Looking to take younger students to the next level

I am particularly looking for younger students, ranging from completely new to chess or the beginner looking to make advancements to the next level. I am prepared to offer the student plenty of my time and dedication; I will teach them the rules, standard opening theory, endgame theory, tactical concepts, and of course strategy in the middlegame. My comments on tutoring Math : Experienced to teach Middle School, High School

First off I approach learning with a degree of understanding for the student, I have found not all students learn at the same pace and have the same strengths and weakness. I like to build the strengths and bring up the weakness. A student must want to learn and to take ownership with his or her educational career no matter what the degree is in. I like to think, I can bring to table the confidence the student needs to make a difference in the way they learn. Thus at the end of our tutoring sessions these skills learned can carry over to other subjects the students pursuance of a higher education.

My comments on tutoring Math : I have studied math myself and tutored other students throughout high school and college, through Calculus III.

I am a big proponent of the theory of multiple intelligences and believe that each student has certain styles of learning that work best for them. I aim to help students figure out how they learn best.
