Teaching is a vital to any academic career. My goal as a teacher is to effectively communicate the subject matter in an interesting way to the student in order to create an atmosphere conducive to learning. I would use number of methods such as in-class participation, demonstration-Supplemented Lectures, development of internet resources and research papers to clearly convey principles relevant to the chemistry classes I would teach. I obtained a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in Structural Analysis. The course work gave me a very strong understanding of Mathematics, and Physics. Also, the quantity of lab reports I have written has given me an advantage in writing non-technical reports along with technical reports. I have worked as a college math privately and through other companies.
My teaching style is very simple and I believe it is effective. I have found that going through problems does not always help kids learn. I always try to tutor the basics and establish a plan for problem solving. The children need to know how to attach a problem not how to plug numbers into equations.

I have always tried my best to help my fellow students in classes, but my formal experience teaching began my junior year of undergraduate. I started tutoring for the chemistry department and I volunteered for a chemistry demonstration show that promotes an interest in chemistry. When I started graduate school I got more experience as a teaching assistant for various general chemistry courses.
