I am currently in my third year of a bachelors of science in biology through the pre-medical track. I have a minor in physics as well as psychology. I work in the biomedical department in the Center for Neuroscience as a research investigator exploring the realm of rehabilitation and prosthetics with respect to stroke and traumatic spinal injuries. Down to Earth tutor more worried about the academics than $

A Little Bit About Me...

Completing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics in less than four years took dedication and excellent study skills. So far, I have only tutored people in Calculus, and Physics, but I am comfortable with Differential Equations, Discrete Math, freshman Chemistry and Biology, and pretty much anything Computer Science related at the undergraduate level.
I am excellent at breaking things down and making them easy to remember. Relating the subject material to something the learner can understand is key. I am very patient and will take the time to learn how to help each student in the most productive way I can.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from IUP with a degree in Biology Education. I am certified in Biology and Middle School Science. I taught for one semester at Central Bucks School District where I taught Academic Biology, Astronomy and Oceanography. I then taught two years at Gateway School District where I taught 8th grade physical science. I now have a permanent position at Yough School District where I teach 7th grade Life Science. I am also currently pursuing my Masters in Education.
The purpose of my teaching is to allow every student to succeed. I will try any way possible to reach this goal for every child. Working in the sciences, I feel that inquiry learning is important and hands-on experience is essential. Each student has their own way of learning best and I try to find that learning style and use it whenever possible.
