I love to teach and tutor mathematics, especially algebra, when students cannot seem to grasp basic concepts. Usually when a analogy to money is used, it becomes a little more successful. Learning and teaching have always been a joy to me. I believe that good reading skills are essential to good learning at all levels and in all subjects. Biology is one of my top subjects! I received my BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry with honors in 2010. As an undergraduate I served as the supplemental instructor leading peer reviewed tutor sessions for a Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Evolution class as well as an Organism and Ecological Biology class. Throughout college, I was a substitute teacher at the local elementary and middle school where I worked with the children in the classroom environment. I also worked one on one with children that were having a difficult time in their classwork. I was also a tutor to the middle school and lower high school students during my Junior and Senior year of high school.
