This approach works well for middle and high school students. It allows students not only to understand the ideas taught but to apply them to other areas as well. Ever since I was quite young I have enjoyed mathematics. I went into the field of engineering to apply this love of mathematics and logical thinking to systems and products useful to our everyday lives, first as a Corrosion Engineer then later with a Master’s degree in the Biomedical field.
