Genetics is one of my top subjects! A large component of my graduate research utilized population genetics to answer fisheries questions.

I prefer a relaxed atmosphere of one-on-one teaching with a hands-on approach. I feel that part of the problem, for so many students, is that they are not comfortable approaching their teachers and asking questions. During my doctoral studies at UCSD, I began to tutor professionally as a way to earn extra income. It seemed like a logical choice for a part-time job as I had been helping friends with homework for almost as long as I could remember. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very patient person, a trait which I believe is very beneficial for a tutor to possess. I am always patient when teaching, and in doing so have succeeded in getting my point across.
