Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

I tutored middle school and high school students in math when I was in a high school, specifically algebra I and II, as well as SAT prep. In college, I helped students in calculus, biology, and statistics, as these are the primary focus of my undergraduate degree. Professional Exam Prep and Subject Tutoring

During my time as Head Tutor at UNCA, regardless of department, I tutored over 200 students in mathematics and physics. Of those students, at least 80% saw an increase of at least one letter grade and at least 20% saw an increase by two letter grades. Many students I tutored in one subject came back to be for tutoring in the other.
