What strikes me most as I look back at my education is how much of an impact a teacher can have when they make their subject relevant to their students. When I am teaching I try to find out what motivates each student as a person, in addition to what is motivating them to take the class. My goal is to build a success-driven environment where the student feels like he/she can do anything.
