I believe that every child has a right to learn. I believe that, no matter what kind of problem or learning disability that student has, that he/she deserves to learn. It is the responsibility, not only of the teacher, but the parents, grandparents, siblings and community to help children receive the best education that they can. I enjoy working with students in small groups, or one-on-one, I believe that in order to help a student succeed in a subject matter in is first necessary to show him/her a real life application of the skill set you are teaching. If you are teaching successive addition or subtractions, the use of a checkbook, and mock purchases, will allow the student to see the value of learning the skill as opposed to simply thinking of it as one more "rote task" she/he must learn to get a passing grade.

I eventually obtained my BS from the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome, in 1994. I have excellent communication, writing, and problem solving skills.
