I obtained a B.S. in engineering from Webb Institute in 1968, entered the U.S. Coast Guard and thereafter obtained a JD in Law from SUNY, Buffalo. I tutored underclassmen in calculus while at Webb and taught seventh and eighth grade math and science in a small catholic school, part time, while in law school. Following law school I was a prosecutor for six years after which I became a hearing officer for NYS OCFS. I retired from state service about one year ago, at age sixty-two.
